Well I sort of understood yours, Canadian accents aren't that different from Northern American ones, and since most movies are based in Northern America, I have a good understanding of the accent.
While you've probally never a Scouse accent in your whole life. Especially since compared to other accents is probally the most unique one out there. No other accent sounds anything like it not even accents from other cities in England.
